A HOUSE! A REAL HOUSE...with a yard and EVERYTHING!

Hello. Sorry it has been a while. Here are some recent happenings:



Tantrums.



Don't poke your eye with that sucker stick, kid.



Hikes in dark caves.



Climbing around on rocks near waterfalls.



Working out our muscles.




Sneaky little boys waking up before mom and dad and toasting almost an entire loaf of bread. I know...dangerous...we tried to rig an alarm system on his door, but it didn't work. We are going to have to put a stop to this!!

And now...for the best part...YAY!!




I had to drive all by myself with two kids to look for a new place to live, and THIS is what I found for a really great deal!!! We are so excited. No, we are not buying, but this is going to be a great place for us for a couple of years. I am sooooooo happy. Can you just imagine how spooky I could make this front porch at Halloween?

Just a few of my very favorite parts about this awesome house:

Huge deck with built-in seats and flower boxes.

This isn't even half of it. This place is so great and our landlords seem like such nice people. Plus it is out in the country and right near the church and school. We really are blessed to have found this place. We had been looking for months.

Anyway, we sure will miss Yakima. It has been a wonderful place with wonderful people, but we are excited for the big move!

Our Little Life Lately

Hello everyone. This is another post mostly of my cute kids. I have not been posting a lot of pics of Travis and I lately. Why? Well, because mostly Travis just studies and me...well, I mostly just feed my baby and clean house and well, we haven't gotten out a lot lately. I guess I have been crafting a lot lately and trying all kinds of fun new recipes and reading some cool books, but I'm saving that for my other blog. What other blog? The other blog that I'm making where I post projects I'm working on, recipes, things I learn, books that I read and love, and other things.

Anyway, here are the pics!

Mitty is getting so strong. She is starting to bat at her toys and she pushes herself up really well during tummy time as you can see here. And she also jabbers and coos a lot.

Doesn't she have such beautiful, happy eyes? Her lashes are very long too. What a pretty girl.

Well, we did take Mitty on her first hike, so I can't say that we haven't done anything fun lately. She stared mesmerizingly at all of the nature from her little front carrier.

And I did my fair share of the work too, don't worry.

Anyway, stay tuned for more fun outings and such. It is getting very warm here, so we are just getting started in the outdoors.

So I now have to hide the bath soap. This is the second time Russ has completely emptied a bottle into the tub. But it is the first time it's made such awesome bubbles. Cute and fun...but NAUGHTY!!!

Aunt Hayley got him a golf set for his birthday. He loves it. Just look at that form!! (Kidding. I really don't know anything about golf form.)

Hey, I may look recovered, but I'm not. It's going to take years for me to recover from the emotional and physical trauma of this last pregnancy/birth. Seriously!!

Russ celebrating his birthday with his cousin, Tyson. They have very close birthdays, and we got to visit our families in Idaho for Amity's blessing.

K, so Russ put this bandaid on his head all by himself because he bonked his head, and a bandaid fixes everything, right? Well, he wouldn't take it off for probably three days. Finally, Travis convinced him that his forehead was all better.

She's a sleepyhead.

Flashback! First Sunday that Amity went to church. It was actually a while ago.

She's grown out of this dress already. What can I say? I've got really creamy milk.

All right, all right, you IMPATIENT people!!

So, most of you were correct. Amity was picture #1 and Russ was picture #2. (It probably helped that Russell was wrapped in a blue blanket and that there were lots of pictures of Amity right below that you could compare...CHEATERS!) But don't they look alike? I think so.

We have noticed that maybe their hairline is a little different, and if you pull their chubby jowls to the side, you can tell that Amity's chin is a little pointier. We shall see what happens as Amity grows, and she is growing fast! Over 8 pounds and 21 inches long now. She is almost bursting out of her newborn clothes already!
